Frequently asked questions

About AI Teacher

Practical answers for students, parents and families considering the classroom.

How is AI Teacher different from Homework Tutor AI?

AI Teacher proactively teaches a selected curriculum lesson. Homework Tutor AI reacts to a specific photographed or entered homework question.

Can a student type instead of speaking?

Yes. The shared input can send text to the teacher or place mathematics on the whiteboard. Typed and spoken answers enter the same teacher workflow.

What is the whiteboard for?

The teacher uses the main lesson area for worked examples. When it is the student's turn, it becomes a whiteboard for calculations, writing or diagrams. The student selects Submit when ready.

Does the student choose the lesson?

Yes. The curriculum menus select country, academic year, subject, topic and lesson from the material currently available.

Which curriculum is currently available?

Italian lower-secondary mathematics is the first complete curriculum collection in the current library. Runnable mathematics demonstrations are also available while further curricula are prepared and validated.

How are credits used?

A live AI lesson reserves a small starting allowance and then bills measured AI usage against the shared Math Kids Club wallet. The balance is visible in the account menu.

What happens if the connection is lost?

The server monitors the live connection. If the classroom client disappears or the session remains idle, the server closes the AI connection to limit unnecessary usage.

Can the guided tour be shown again?

Yes. Select the question-mark button in the classroom rail to replay the five-step introduction.
